Stratford – Top 5 Things To Do – Inspires Adventure

Stratford is one of my favourite places to visit in London! It’s located just outside the heart of the city and is always a great day out!

My top 5 recommendations are:

1. Walk through The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

It’s a lovely park with lots of paths and a view of the London skyline in the distance. (Pretty cool!) You also get the opportunity to see some of the Olympic venues and can take a walk alongside the river which is enjoyable!

2. Take a picture with the Olympic Rings

Not only is this an iconic symbol of the games but it’s location takes you on a great walk. The path follows the river as you head out towards Lea Valley and it’s a peaceful and scenic walk; you’ll forget that you are even in London!

3. Go to the top of The ArcelorMittal Orbit

There are great views of the city from the observatory at the top of the sculpture! Bonus that it’s much cheaper and less busier then other London attractions and with it being over 100m high the view is still stunning!

4. Visit Westfield Stratford

It’s absolutely huge and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants over 3 floors. There’s definitely something for everyone although it’s not so good for your bank balance…!

5. People-watch

Take a break from walking/shopping and sit in the park, at a restaurant/cafe or on a bench and watch the world go by! (Your feet will thank you!)
